As it turns out, last week line-melte (https://www.deviantart.com/line-melte) asked his viewers for suggestions on deviants to feature in upcoming journals. My dear friend Tinoculars (https://www.deviantart.com/tinoculars) recommended me, and to my surprise, I was featured in CM's journal today. He is much more established here than I am, and incredibly talented, so it's quite the compliment to have my work acknowledged by him. All the work in my gallery is over a year old, so receiving nice comments on it even today is really amazing. It's a big motivator for me to keep pushing ahead and complete new work, as well. I have a driver's license ! :excited: I was afraid my driving ability would be Spongebob-quality, but I managed to pass the road test today. There are some things I still trip up on, like parking - I get nervous backing into a space, never mind parallel parking. :stare: To those who drive - what was hardest about driving for you to get used to ? This is the best thing to happen to me this summer. How did your summer go ?
